Prosoft s.r.o: Technical solutions

Mobile Sales system uses newest information technologies – PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), Bluetooth, mobile and fixed telephone network, internet, GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). These give to sales representatives possibility to comunicate with central computer whenever they need and to use all information about customers and alse about sales products. Technology of GPS (Global Positioning System) provides comfort and accuracy during work control of sales representatives.

Mobile Sales system consists of two standalone parts: Mobile Sales Client and Mobile Sales Server. Comunication between these parts runs through internet or business computer network.

1. Mobile Sales Client

Is provided in two versions – version for PC (desktop PC, notebook) and version for PDA. PDA version works under the operating system Microsoft Windows CE (Pocket PC, Windows Mobile). Version for desktop PC works under the operating system Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.

2. Mobile Sales Server

Is developed in Enterprise Java™ with using technology of HTML and JavaScript. Data are stored in central SQL database, whereas they are suported several types of SQL databases (Informix, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Thanks to this technology Mobile Sales Server is platform independent which means, that can works in Microsoft Windows environment, LINUX and UNIX. All functions of Mobile Sales Server are accessible through web interface, which gives access from arbitrariness computer of business computer network, that has installed internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera).
